New KONSTRUKTIONS....

Thought I would post my new layouts I did with my scrapapple kit this month.I was given the new line from Kaiser called KONSTRUKT.I was asked to create both a girls layout and boys layout with the range and here are my two creations
The first are of photos taken quite awhile ago of Willat the Fun 4 Kids festival.I hadnt gotten around to scrapping them so these papers were perfect for them.
This one is of Maya painting which I have scrapped before but thought that they would work well for this project.

What if???

This is the new challenge topic on the scrapapple forum this month. I just couldnt get my head around doing a meaningful, serious LO!! Especially when I just took these photos the other night!!! So I called mine....
"What if the wind changed?"  Its based on an old wives tale that said if you go cross eyed and the wind changed youd stay like that!!! I just thought it was too crazy and perfect for this challenge!!!
You wont see this LO in any magazine cos I think my hubby would kill me!!!!
It was a fun LO to do and you should give it a go. There is a prize up for grabs so off you go....
Its a great topic when you start thinking about it......
What if youd taken a different path?
What if you had never met your hubby?
What if could turn back time?
What if you had super powers? What would they be....
When you start thinking about this question you can come up with so many great LO ideas!Great challenge Stace!!

Anyway, thanks for popping by. xx

End of the journey...

This week sees the last weekin the scrapboutique postcards from around the world competetion.:(
This week we visited Greenland......shimmering ice and snow.
Here is my LO
I used an older photo of Maya wearing her first beanie...so adorable. I used a prima stamp by Donna Downey to create the vines  which I stamped onto a piece of calico and cut out. I cut the laced cardstock on my Cricut. I have used pearl glimmermist all over to create a shimmery feel but it hasnt showed up in this photo...but it looks good in the right light! I brushed a light blue paint allover the Kraft cardstock.

Well cant reveal anything else just yet so will be back when I can. Dont forget Scrapapple's Mad May sale and their "What if LO challenge".
Thanks again forstopping by! Eb xx

Postcard from japan....

This week the postcard from Scrap boutique is from Japan. The inspiration was beautiful...butterflies,birds, friendship, and I chose to use blues and greens based on a photo of a pond in a japanese garden.

I had a bit of a creative splurge the other day and did these layouts!!

The first is for the May challenge at Scrap the Girls. The challenge this month was to use the colors, pink, aqua, yellow and white. I lovethese colors so I had fun creating this LO.......
I am so excited as I won last months challenge and won a kit from What is old is new again . Cant wait to get it!

Im loving dyed doilies and trims at the moment and I won these beautiful ones made by "Sweet Vintage"( Jodie Butler) .

I also did this months challenge for Kraft it Up. The challenge is to create your own background paper. I used some chipboard circles and yellow paint.

I also managed to get some other layouts done that I just cant show yet but all in all its been creating. I am off now to work on my next layout for the scrapboutique challenge. This weeks stop over is India. So will be back once I have got that to share. thanks for popping by and a huge thankyou to all those who take the time to leave comments. NEW YORK.......

Thats the stopover this week in the scrapboutique competition!!! Red, white and blue flags, yellow taxis......bright lights, the big apple all inspired this layout..........

A bit different for me! Am trying different styles lately!!

And this LO is using the color pallette #4 from the color room......

Not the best picture......seem to be unable to take clear, bright photos at the moment. Im notupwith the latest photoediting techniques and I so need to learn!!! iIhave photoshop but only know the very basics. If anyone has any tips and tricks to share it would be greatly appreciated!!!

And lastly just a LO I did last night using this crate paper range!

Its about Maya's grumpy, stubborn side!!! imsure anyone with 3 year olds can relate to this!!!

Anyway, better go and achieve something for the day. Its a public holiday here today for the May Races carnival so the whole family is home! Thanks for popping by, Eb xx
