This one was Jodie Butler's challenge to use the following.......the color red, at least two buttons, stitching, a decorative edge and journalling. I enjoyed scrapping some older photos ofWill for this one!Well thats all for today.....have a great weekend! Ebxx

Such a Lucky Day...

Today I had a great day....I joined in on a cyber crop on the BOXX. It was so much fun. We played bingo and I won the first round and came second in the next round,so I win some surprises from Sheree McGee!!! Yah!!! I am on a little bit of a winning streak!!! I also won a surprise pack on the Scrapability Sketch site! Can't wait for happy mail! During the crop there were three challenges.I managed to get one done...hope to do the others tonight. I'll show you tomorrow.

I will leave you with some layouts, the first Idid recently at a scrap day at Nellie G's and the second is one from quite awhile ago. The first is about Will learning to tie his shoelaces. The next is photos of Will playing his DS.

I have also created this one for the monthly sketch challenge at Anna's Craft Cupboard.....

I even pulled out some old metal eyelets!!!!!! Really need to go through my stash and try to rehash some old stuff!!!!

Aren't I lucky....

I was very excited yesterday when I received these in the mail. They were made by the very talented Leanne Pearce..........

They came all parcelled up so gorgeous wrapped in a dress pattern with a flower and wrapped in string. Attatched was the little tag that Leanne has made using mist and her acrylic bird cage......Thanks SO much Leanne...can't wait to use them. (sorry about the pic, we are having the most terrible weather!!)

Also thought I would show you my latest creations for Scrapapple.

In my kit was the new Sass Lass ME LIKEY range and a chipboard frame. Well , the frame just wouldn't work like I wanted it to, so I cut it up and made it into a book.....

And I also created this LO of Will and his mate Jakob taken last year at Fun 4 Kids festival
Well, I really want to go and scrap but can't seem to find my mojo at the moment. So have just bought a heap of new papers so maybe that will inspire me.......Til next time thanks for stopping by, Eb xx

Just a quick post...

Just a quick post today......not much to show or that I can show just yet.
I am feeling a liitle bummed....I was eliminated from Idol. I was really disappointed, had hoped to go a little further. I had an idea of what I was going to do next layout and everything! OH well, I used the ideas (kind of) anyway and submitted it to SM and they liked it so that was a good pick me up! So I can't show you that one yet. Have quite a few coming up in SM so check them out there. I have an OFTP in another couple of issues.
Anyway, not much else to report. Off to do groceries , exciting I know.
We are off to Merimbula next week for a week so I am getting very excited about seeing my friends again!!!
Will be back tomorrow to show you my latest creations for SCRAPAPPLE.
Til then, thanks for stopping by, Eb xxx

IDOL WEEK ....

Well I just uploaded this weeks entry for Week three of the Scrapbook Idol over at Embellished Scrapbook Shopppe. Yah! I made it through to this round. So this week's challenge was to create a monochromatic layout. So here is what I created.....

Its hard to see from the pictures but I used lots of little pearls and jewels on this and loved how they came up. I love this color so this was really fun to do and a great challenge as I never do monochromatic layouts.I also handstitched on the letters.

Anyway, better go and actuallyhang out some washing!! Yep, boring stuff I know! Thanks for stopping by! Eb

Just some layouts to share...

Hi again,

Just thought I would update with some recent layouts. Was lucky enough to have a scrappy day with NellieG yesterday where we both worked on a sketch from Rebekkah Mitchell's blog Scrapability Sketches. Here is what I came up with....

For some unknown reason we call her "Moodgie Bear"!!!! You can see what Janelle did with the sketch here.I also started another layout which Iam yet to finish, but as always had a fun day! Thanks Nellie!

What else have I been up to.....well I did this layout based on a sketch on Inspired Blueprints.

I love buying Maya shoes.....girls shoes are so cute! These were my favourite pair from last Summer! They look like baby doll shoes.

And here is a layout of Will and his little friend Baxter at Auskick......adorable aren't they???

Well remember that I told you that Paula is making some changes over at her blog...well she has started and this is a sample of her September sketch....

It is going to be a lot of fun over at her blog. She will be sending out newsletters all about it this week. So if you are not signed up for newsletters you better head over there and sign up.

Well, I have got my next scrapapplek it to work on and this week's IDOL entry to do for over at Embellished Scrapbook Shoppe so better go and start something while there is peace and quiet. Thanks again for stopping by...don't forget to leave me comment so I know you were here!!

IDOL WEEK TWO

OK, so we are up to week two in IDOL at Embellished ScrapbookShoppe, and luckily no one was eliminated last week so I have this to share with you. This week we had to create a circular layout tothe theme of either Those Eyes, Around the World, Friends or Seasons.

So I chose to do mine based on the seasons theme but I wanted to put a different spin on it. So I created a layout about Will's first season of footy!!!The journalling is about discovering what its like to be FOOTY MUM! You know....the early mornings, lots of Mud but also lots offun.

I cut my circle out with acetate so it was a bit tricky to take a good photo...but here it is.

It was fun to create. I used lots of layering and distressing and a bit of paint to make it feel a little (didn't want too much) grungy. Anyway thats allI have to share at the moment. Til next time thanks for looking....EB XX
