Another one...

Well just thought I would pop in before my family sit down to have our own little christmas party and watch the Carols in the Domain. Steve thought it might help the christmas spirit if we had our own little party of lollies, popcorn etc with the kids and watch the carols. I thought this was really sweet of him because he HATES watching carols byc andlelight!!!He took the kids to the supermarket and bought some lollies and they had a big sleep this afternoon so they could watch them!So while they were asleep I did the December Sketch challenge for Anna's craft cupboard.

Its a layout of Maya with her face painted at the Glaxo christmas party a few weeks ago.Really need some new girlie papers I have decided. Have used these heaps.Mum is giving me some October Afternoon papers for chrissy so cant wait to use them. Might need to stock up on some girlie things after chrissy though. strugglingto find any nice, bright girlie papers in my HUGE stash! ( I know ...hard to believe!!!)

Well, goodnightand thanks for popping by, Eb xxxx

Wow! A double......!!!

The sketch over at Scrapablity Sketches this month is a double LO!!!you an check it out here.
I normally hate doing doubles but am quite happy with how mine turned out.....
I also got my secret santa pressie from the boxx today...well at least i think it is.There was no card or names on it so I am only presuming. Here is what I was lucky enough to get.

Apparently more poor secret santas pressie got returned to them because it had the wrong postcade and in the process got damaged. So they had to send goodies instead.I actually have the papers to match these embellies too...thanks secret santa!

Well school holidays have started todayand have already broken up a few fights between my two! ARGH!Sometimes they play so well together and other days it is like living in a nightmare!!!Maya doesn't like sleeping through the day when Wills home so that doesnt help!

I have finished all mt DT commitments and pressie making so I am hoping to scrap some just because I can LOS over the next week so will let you know I go with those!

Thanks again for popping by....Eb xx

Don't you hate it...????

......when you have to pay for forgotten appointments!!!!! I just received a $35.00 bill because amidst all the chaos with christmas and school functions etc I forgot (and Steve!!!) about Will's follow up appointment with the surgeon who removed his tonsils!!!I feel like such a bad mother. How could I forget about this??? Just SO much going on right now...my head is spinning! Because she was away for all of November they put our follow up appointment back to the 4th of DEC....and I just clean forgot!Such a long time after the surgery.

Are you all organised for chrissy?? I think I am nearlly there!!!! I have been making different gifts which I wont post on here in case some one sees who shouldnt!!!

I havent had any time to scrap lately only fulfilling my DT commitments but here are some things to show you!

Firstly, here is my take on the December Sketch on Paula's....

I really enjoyed this sketch and these photos of Will playing in the sprinkler were just perfect for these Bo Bunny papers.

ForScrapapple this month we were given some black and silver chrissy papers to playwith. We were asked to make christmas cards and add another dominant color. I added pink and aqua to mine I only managed 3 cards though.

Also I got to pick my kit fromScrapapple this onth soI chose some really cool WER Memory Keepers papers (TWIRL) and some awesome scrapware chipboard houses. The theme was ne years resolutions. Well mine obviously!! now is to be more organised and less forgetful so I made a journal/diary. I went to the local stationers shop where you could buy different sets of diaries, notes, calendars etcalready with holes etc tocreate your own diary. I made some covers and inserts and this is it......

These are just a few photos. You can see more here.I have also used MUMS CROCHET FLOWERSand lots of NELLIE G DESIGN, Yvette Adams journalling spot and some good old thickers.

Lastly a huge CONGRATULATIONS to BEKKY and her hubby at Scrapability Sketches on the safe arrival of TRINITY ELISE.

While Bek has been away Kerry organised a blind scrap. I have never done one of these before and it was fun. Not my fav LO(love ours though Kez!!!) but here it is....

Well better head off and get my boy from school...thanks for popping by! Eb xx

Sorry...

...I haven't posted for awhile. It is crazy at the moment!! So much going on!Chrissy shopping, parties,assemblies....you know how it is. I have got so many pressies I still want to make and some DT commitiments awaiting me on my desk!Maya had her last day at Playgroup today which we finished off with a party and we also had our street christmas party on the weekend. We have one every year where all the families put in some money and hire a jumping castle, and santa visits us. Maya was the real little socialite! Will was very subdued...not feeling well and unfortunately we have had some bullying issues in the street so we had to deal with that...but hopefuly now this wil be the end of it and Will can happily play alongwith the other boys and girls in the street!

What have I got to show.....

Well this was my last entry for Scrapability sketches comp.......( I didn't win unfortunately!!)
I created this LO about Will's helicopter adventure.

I have signed up for another lot of Kim Archer's christmas classes. One idea was this fanatstic notes/cards folder. I think I will give this to Will's school teacher with some other goodies

I also made this christmas collage that Mel Nunn was teaching. I really love how it turned out. Might have to make another one that I can keep out all year.

Well thats allI can share at the moment. Hoping to scrap tonight as I have more pressiesto make and some LOs and cards to create. Thanks for popping by.

BTW mum has a heap of her crochet flowers made up ready to go soif you are looking for a little gift for a scrappy friend or for yourself just order them through here.

The colors are:

Red, jade Green, Lemon, pineapple yellow, lipstick pink,Lolly pink, pale pink, black, white, orange, and lime green. ($5 a bag of 7 plus $3 postage)

Just a few to share..

Just have a few layouts to share this time. This one I did for one of the challenges at the Artypants Cyber Crop last weekend. We had to use these colors and include somemasking. Well my masking didn't turn outhow I wanted it too but just went with it. The layout is all about Will and how his behaviour is like that of a little monster lately. Don't know if its an age thing or because its getting towards the end of the year but he seems to have gained an attitude and lost his manners. He also needs somuch more direction than he usually does. He won't entertain himself at all and therefore bugs everyone especially Maya all the time to be doing something ALL of the time.Anyway hope my old Will returns soon!!!!

This two are based on this months sketches at Scrapability Sketches.Wellother than our TV dying on us on Friday night not much else to report...very quiet at the moment whichI am loving before the hype of chrissy starts. I just agreed to stay on at Scrapapple as their DT next year which is exciting. Thought they may of wanted rid of us but they are happy for us to stay on! YAH!

Anyway have a great day, thanks for popping by.

A Horse called Mojo...

Just thought I would post these layouts. They are about Maya's first time riding a horse. We were on holidays in Merimbula at the time. We thought that Maya would be petrified but she beamed from ear to ear the whole time. He was a gorgeous horse called MOJO....

You can find the step by stepdirections for this on Paula's Scrapbooking Place blog.

And here is Will loving his turn riding MOJO.....

I just came here to post these and in the comments section was an ad for viagra!!! Is anyone else getting these silly spam like comments???? Very annoying!!

Anyway, must go pick up Will from School.Hoping to scrap this weekend during the Artypants CC. Steve is diving all day Sunday so I told himit was only fair that I could scrap Saturday!

Thanks for popping by, Ebony

WEEK 6 @ Paula's....

Wow! We have reached the final weekof challenges over at Paula's. This week I set the challenge to create a layout using PAINT or GLIMMERMIST in a CREATIVE way onto the background.

Here is my sample. I love this photo of Will drawing in the sand at Pambula Beach NSW. I used glimmermist (denim blue) to create the look of sparayed water and little pools of water to represent the beach. I tried to keep it all looking natural in color so used embellies like string to achieve this.
I also set a bonus challenge that originally allowed everybody the weekend to do, but I got complaints about this so extended it until this Wednesday. You have no idea.....might think twice about organising things like this again! Anyway The challenge was to create a layout using more than one photo about a celebration.I did a layout about our Esater Egg hunt this year. Not my fav LO but its another one for the album.

There is a great competition starting over at Scrapability Sketches. If you love sketch challenges you should head over here and sign up.

Have done a few more LO's this week but haven't taken photos yet so will be back tomorrow to show you those.

Thanks for popping by....Eb xxx

THIS MONTHS SCRAPAPPLE DT KIT...

Just thougt I would post my latest layouts that I have done for Scrapapple this month. I received a generous amount of Fancy Pants "Little Sprout" Range and I created 3 Layouts with the range. The girls at Scrapapple wanted to showcase the versatility of the paper range so I didn't add too many embellies to it...only flowers (mainly MUMS CROCHET FLOWERS!!!).

So here are my Layouts.....

"BABY JACK......"

"CRAZY GIRL..."

"FRESH FROM HEAVEN..."

Will is feeling a little better....very emotional though! Cries at anything! Hoping he will be fine this weekend ad I am away at Imagination factory Retreat. Very exciting!!! Have started to pack but not as organised as I would like to be. I am doing a canvas class there so that will take some of the time. Also want to finish off my secret Santa present swap at the BOXX.

Anyhow, hoping to scrap today as I have entered the Scrap your pants of challenge at Artypants and I want to get it done before I start packing more stuff. This week;s challenge is Something Old, Something New, Something borrowed Something Blue. tellyou more about it when Ipost my layout.

Almost forgot......Here is week 3 challenge at Paula's Scrapbooking Place...
